Company History
Rognlin’s, Inc. was founded in the late 1950’s by brothers Wayne and Emery Rognlin; they began their business with home construction in the Grays Harbor area.
In 1961, Rognlin’s, Inc. was incorporated and by this time they had constructed approximately 150 homes throughout Grays Harbor and began taking on larger projects such as condominiums and hotels in Ocean Shores and several other commercial buildings within Grays Harbor County.
By the 1970’s Rognlin’s, Inc. expanded their business model to include industrial contracting. This new scope of work took them outside of Grays Harbor to work on projects from Ferndale to Longview for clients such as Weyerhaeuser Timber Company, Simpson Timber Company and various other industrial customers throughout the Olympic Peninsula region.
To continue the growth of the business and to compliment their business model, in the 1980’s Rognlin’s, Inc. further expanded by adding earthwork to their list of services. This included underground utility projects and the construction of roads and bridges.
By the 1990’s, brothers Randy and Scott Rognlin began to assume the day-to-day operations of the business while the company continued to diversify into projects such as sewage and water treatment facilities, pump stations and dam construction.
By 2000, Rognlin’s, Inc. had expanded our portfolio to be so diverse we were able to self perform most aspects of our projects.
In 2012, Rognlin’s, Inc. had a change of ownership to include Randy Rognlin, Nick Rognlin, Katie Snodgrass and Brian Thompson. As second and third generation employees of Rognlin’s, Inc, they continue to focus on furthering the innovation that has developed over the last 50 years. Today, we are a well recognized general contractor with a focus on safety, cost control, quality and scheduling. The team at Rognlin’s, Inc is dedicated to their clients and to the communities in which it operates.
