ROGNLIN'S, INC. was founded in the
late 1950’s by Wayne and Emery Rognlin; they began
their business with home construction in the Grays Harbor area.
In 1961, ROGNLIN'S was
incorporated and by this time they had constructed
approximately 150 homes throughout the Grays Harbor
area and began to take on larger projects, such as
condominiums, hotels in the Ocean Shores area and other commercial buildings in the Grays Harbor
area.
By the 1970’s, Rognlin’s, Inc.
was again expanding; this time into the area of industrial
contracting. They were working on projects
located from Ferndale to Longview, working
for clients such as Weyerhaeuser Timber Company,
Simpson Timber Company and various other industrial
customers throughout the Olympic Peninsula region.
In the 1980’s, ROGNLIN'S
began construction of underground utilities,
earthwork, bridges and roads.
By the late 1980’s, Randy and
Scott Rognlin began to assume the day-to-day
operations of the company, while the company was
still growing by diversifying into projects such as
sewage and water treatment facilities, pump stations
and dam construction.
Today, ROGNLIN'S, INC.
constructs
commercial buildings, performs industrial construction of all
types, earthwork, underground utilities, road
and bridge construction. Being diversified has
enabled ROGNLIN'S to self perform most aspects
of their projects, better controlling costs, quality
control and schedules.
ROGNLIN'S has received
many awards of accomplishment from Washington State
Department of Transportation, Grays Harbor County,
Pacific County, and The Army Corps of Engineers for
outstanding performance of construction.
The people who have worked for ROGNLIN'S
for many years have been the key to the company's
success. There are now third generation employees
working for the company, learning the day to day
activities and still taking pride in their work.
