Based in Aberdeen, Washington, Rognlin’s is a third-generation general contracting business. We founded the company on residential construction and have expanded our self-perform capabilities and project types over the years. We continue in the spirit of innovation that has driven our success for 60+ years.
Rognlin’s was founded in the late 1950’s by brothers Wayne and Emery Rognlin; they built homes in the Grays Harbor area.
Rognlin’s, Inc. became incorporated. By this time, we had already constructed 150+ homes throughout Grays Harbor County and started constructing condominiums and hotels in rapidly growing Ocean Shores. We also designed and built several other community buildings in Grays Harbor.
We expanded our services and geographic reach to include industrial contracting around the Olympic Peninsula for clients such as Weyerhaeuser Timber Company, Simpson Timber Company, and other industrial customers.

We further expanded our capabilities with earthwork services to support underground utility projects as well as heavy civil road and bridge construction.
Brothers Randy and Scott Rognlin assumed day-to-day business operations. We continued to diversify our portfolio with water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and dams.
Our team and revenue grew significantly as we established a strong geographic presence in Thurston County, Lewis County, and throughout Washington.

Randy Rognlin, Nick Rognlin, Katie Snodgrass, and Brian Thompson took ownership of the company, representing second and third generation Rognlin’s employees.
We again broadened our portfolio to include small and large marine construction projects.
Rognlin’s is a well-recognized general contractor dedicated to our clients and communities, focusing on safety, quality, and strong relationships with our employees and our clients. 75% of our work supports public projects, and many clients have been working with us for 40+ years.
Rognlin’s is a signatory union contractor, enabling us to quickly engage qualified craftsmen for projects of any size, including carpenters, millwrights, iron workers, operating engineers, and laborers.
