The Rognlin’s team supported the Terminal 4 Port Expansion by constructing approximately 40,000 feet of rail infrastructure to accommodate unit train service and railcar storage capacity. This project also included transforming a former 50-acre casting basin site into a breakbulk cargo handling and laydown area and several sitewide improvements to support the new operations. These included roadway and access upgrades, subsurface utility work, significant storm drainage enhancements, mass earthwork, site preparation, demolition, and the construction of retaining walls and culverting.
To ensure safety and security, the project incorporated new paving, lighting systems, perimeter fencing, and the construction of a new guard station. The result is a fully modernized, high-capacity cargo handling facility that positions the site for long-term operational success.
