Bowerman Airport Airfield Pavement Rehabilitation

Rognlin’s supported multiple repairs and improvements on the airfield, including crack sealing, pavement grinding, overlay of degrading asphalt, and pavement markings. The crack sealing work included routing and cleaning existing cracks and filling them with a sealant material. Grinding of failed pavement areas extended approximately two inches into the existing surface to remove the defective material and provide a joint along the adjacent edge. We applied a tack coat and placed a lift of new asphalt.
